Climate Change Story Slam

Meeting Room 301
Saturday, Apr 20, 2024, 7:00pm to 9:00pm

One night only - storytellers from around Wisconsin will gather to share stories about how climate change has affected their lives, how they have coped, and what they’re doing about it. Stories may range from one-time encounters with the effects of climate change, to careers dedicated to fighting for a safe and sustainable environmental future. Come celebrate Earth Day by joining the conversation and holding space for the kind of stories that inspire people to act.

Join Mad City Story Slam and the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters at Central Library on April 20, 2024 from 7 to 9 pm. Register at this link to secure your spot today! https://www.wisconsinacademy.org/.../climate-change-story...

This event is part of Bloom: a season of poetry. Demonstrating the timeless power of the written and spoken word, Bloom will create and showcase poetry events across the state that explore and illuminate perspectives, experiences, and the natural world.
