Madison Public Library works with the American Red Cross to host blood drives in our libraries throughout the year.
The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime. Some blood drives include gift cards for participants and other perks - check the individual listing to see any additional incentives!
The majority of the blood drives take place at Central Library and Sequoya Library.
