- Click on the blue "Connect to Transparent Language" button on the top of this page
- Enter your library card number
- When you get to the screen pictured here (Right), click "Sign Up"
- You can then use the username and password you just created to log in to the mobile app

American Citizenship Course
Transparent Language offers a course to help English language learners prepare for the U.S. Citizenship Exam. Created with the input of ESL professionals and public librarians, the American Citizenship Test prep course is designed with the goal of preparing test takers to comfortably answer all 100 civics questions. More than that, the course is intended to truly teach learners about the American government, history, and culture, including key vocabulary words. The course is divided into six topical lessons, covering all the core subjects presented in the American Citizenship Test: Constitution and Branches of Government; Laws and Civic Responsibilities; Colonial American History; 1800s American History; 1900s and Recent American History; Geography and Environment, Symbols, and Holidays.
1. When you log in for the first time, select English as the language you want to learn. You can choose "English for Speakers of..." any of the languages listed.
2. Click Browse on the top navigation bar
3. Scroll down until you see American Citizenship Course
